LAMP - COL14

We are excited to announce our latest release for Colombia: LAMP-COL14 (2016). Our latest release contains a total of 14 communities surveyed in Colombia, in the United States, and surveyed in Spain. These 14 communities are located in the departments of Atlántico, Cundinamarca, Caldas, Risaralda, Quindío, and Valle del Cauca. This dataset was updated in June 2016 because we added the households interviewed in Spain.

The surveys in Colombia were made possible through an ongoing association between the LAMP and the Red de Universidades Públicas del Eje Cafetero- Alma Mater since 2008. During different periods, we have received support during fieldwork from Fundación Esperanza, the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Fundación Universidad del Norte, and Universidad del Valle (VRI).

The surveys in Spain were made possible through an association between the LAMP and the Instituto Universitario de Estudios sobre Migraciones - Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid, Spain.

Community 8 - 200 households in Colombia and 1 household in the U.S.

Community 9 - 200 households in Colombia, 1 household in the U.S., and 8 households in Spain

Community 12 - 200 households in Colombia, 2 households in the U.S., and 18 households in Spain

Community 14 - 199 households in Colombia and 17 households in Spain

Community 9999 - 12 households in the U.S. and 64 households in Spain. These households were done to migrants from Colombia who were born outside our 14 communities.
