Its main economic activity is in manufactury, commerce, and services. Due to its prime location, it is considered the center of finances and commerce. It has two banks, two exchange houses, several supermarkets, childcare centers, restaurants, and multiple stores. Everyone who moves from West to North of the Cauca Valley, must cross this area. It has access to schools of every single level, including college education.
